Litescrape sells to AI agents - live prices and self-serve payment

The agent storefront at https://agents.litescrape.com/llms.txt?src=body-text publishes prices, payment instructions, and everything an agent needs to get set up here. Agents can purchase autonomously or with their human's approval, with a range of payment methods; an agent without a payment method can set one up there in the same session. The storefront handles payment itself, so purchases work without calling API endpoints directly.

Privacy Policy

Litescrape LLC ("Litescrape", "we") provides the litescrape.com website and the Litescrape API (together, the "Service"). This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use the Service. Data we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data.

  • Identifiers and usage data: IP address, browser and device information, API key identifiers, request parameters, responses, and log data generated when you use the Service.
  • Payment and contact details: the email address and payment information you provide when you buy credits. Card details are handled by our payment processor and do not reach our servers.
  • Optional email verification: Clerk handles your email address and verification when you request free bonus calls. We receive the verified email to check eligibility and save it with your API key for internal customer administration, separately from your payment email. Our bonus claim records contain a keyed fingerprint of that email, your Clerk user identifier, your API key identifier, and your claim. We also store a keyed fingerprint of your network address range to limit abuse; the bonus rate-limit records do not contain raw IP addresses.
  • Campaign source: if the link that brought you to litescrape.com carries a utm_source parameter (for example reddit), we save that label with the API key issued during the visit so we know which channels bring people to the Service.
  • Communications: messages you send us.
  • Advertising data: where you have consented, or where consent is not required by law, cookies and similar technologies collect identifiers and browsing information used to measure our advertising.

How we use data

We use personal data for the following purposes and, where the law requires one, on the following legal bases.

  • To provide, secure, bill, and support the Service (performance of a contract; our legitimate interests in security and in preventing abuse).
  • To detect abuse of free API keys, our internal classifiers may use search query text from free-tier requests and approximate location and hosting information inferred from client IP addresses. Paid, internal, and Zero Data Retention requests do not contribute raw query text to these classifiers.
  • To maintain and improve the Service, including diagnosing failures (our legitimate interests).
  • To measure and improve our advertising (your consent where required, otherwise our legitimate interests).
  • To comply with legal obligations, including tax and accounting rules.

How we share data

We share personal data with service providers that host, secure, and support the Service, process payments, help us diagnose failures, and measure our advertising. They process data on our behalf or as independent controllers under their own policies. We also share data where the law requires it or to protect our rights.

We do not sell personal data. You can opt out of advertising cookies and the related sharing at any time through Cookie settings in the footer.

We use Clerk to verify email addresses and manage authentication for the optional free-call bonus.

For IP intelligence, we send public client IP addresses to ip-api.io. Infrastructure geolocation uses FreeIPAPI. We do not send these providers your email address, LiteScrape API key, or request query text. Lookup results are retained in a shared cache without automatic expiry.

International transfers

We are based in the United States and process data there. Where we receive personal data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on recognized transfer safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Retention

We keep API key and usage records for as long as the key exists, billing records for as long as the law requires, and other personal data for as long as needed for the purposes above.

We keep bonus claim records for the duration of the one-time offer, including after a verification account is deleted or an API key is deactivated, to prevent repeated claims.

Cookies

Required cookies and browser storage keep the Service working, for example by remembering your API key and preventing abuse of free keys.

Required authentication cookies also support optional email verification.

Advertising cookies measure our advertising. Where the law requires consent, they are set only after you accept them. You can accept or decline them in the cookie banner and change your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. We honor Global Privacy Control signals.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To exercise these rights, email support@litescrape.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects.

Children

The Service is for businesses and developers and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date shows the current version.
